Union County girls basketball, recapping Saturday's games

Union County, Saturday in Review Scotch Plains 53, Delaware Valley 49Amani Williams, Megan Fernandez and Taylor Sebolao combined for five points in the final 37 seconds of overtime to rally Scotch Plains to a 53-49 victory over Delaware Valley in Scotch Plains.
Sebolao, who contributed six points in the 9-4 overtime period, sparked the rally by hitting two free throws. Williams followed with a free throw and Fernandez then got a steal and brought it in for a layup with four seconds on the clock. At the end of regulation, Fernandez had hit a 3-pointer with 10.7 seconds to go to tie it 44-44.
Shannon Croasdale had 18 points for Delaware Valley, which was ahead, 20-11, at the half and 44-41 with 11 seconds showing in the fourth.
Plainfield 47, Elizabeth 26
Breana Spencer scored 15 points and Drew Winter had 13 when Plainfield defeated Elizabeth, 47-26, in Elizabeth.
Ziykara Hicks led Elizabeth with 10 points.
Gov. Livingston 45, West Morris 25
Patrice DiTommaso hit a 3-pointer to spark a big third quarter run, giving Gov. Livingston a decisive lead before cruising to a 54-35 victory over West Morris in Long Valley.
DiTommaso totaled 12 points with two 3-pointers, the second of which started a 15-2 surge as Gov. Livingston moved ahead, 45-25, at the start of the fourth. Teammate Erin Ferguson supplied 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Mallory George added 10 points. West Morris was led by Birelle Kelly's 11 points.
Cranford 43, Columbia 31
Jessica McCoy recorded 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 steals in Cranford's 43-31 victory over Columbia in Cranford.
Teammate Jenna Goeller drilled in three 3-pointers en route to 12 points for Cranford. Sierra Bastien's 11 points keyed Columbia.
Union 48, Westfield 44
Wendy Berry finished with 12 points and Salena King contributed 11 to lift Union to a 48-44 victory over Westfield in Westfield.
Westfiled's Lillian Scott had a game-high 17 points.
