McGovern scored 16 points with eight rebounds and Jessica McCoy had 10
points and 10 rebounds to lift Cranford to a 54-50 victory over
Plainfield in Cranford. Cranford used an early 22-11 first quarter lead to hold off Plainfield, which got within six points at the break behind a 17-12 second quarter. The third and fourth quarter scores were tied at 11-11 and 9-9, respectively.
Drew Winter's 16 points led three Plainfield players in double digits as teammates Brittany Hooks finished with 14 points and Breana Spencer scored 12.
